Latitude is 50.59' N and Longitude is 1.21' W.    Height above sea level
is 15m
 
We are situated on the edge of a town in the middle of a housing estate.
We are on a flat area on the flood plain of the River Itchen.
 
Time: We will make our observations at 1300 hrs.
 
The observations will be made near our Stevenson's screen which is in an
open area near the entrance to the school.
 
Equipment: We will have a max/min thermometer in the Stevenson's screen.   
In addition we will be using a digital thermometer, barometer, rain gauge and
possibly an anemometer.   We will not be able to measure relative humidity.
 
Normally the weather here at this time of year is damp and chilly with
frosty nights and the odd clear sunny but cold day.
