Aims of the RMS Millenium CloudWatch Europe
2000 project for schools
For school students (aged 11-16) to:
- observe cloud type, cover and
precipitation 2/3 times daily
- enter observations into a cloud
database
- relate observations to weather patterns and atmospheric
processes
- produce maps of clouds and weather
- compare observations to satellite
images
- learn more about
cloud
The project supports both Geography and Science. Participants will
be given a booklet about clouds and a cloud identification chart.

The project will take place during the week of 20-24 March, 2000
