Analysis: Precipitation Jan 26-30th and Feb 2-6th, 1998
The UK had no appreciable rain during the whole project period except for
Edinburgh. Northern Europe experienced moderate amounts of snowfall. Bilbao
had very heavy rainfall associated with a fully developed depression which
brought 85mm on January 29th and more unsettled weather later in Week 2
of the project. Peterhouse, Zimbabwe had rain on most days associated with
convectional, warm-season conditions.
